Membership Information
The JWC welcomes new members at any time of the year as we have a year-round membership application process. During clubwide events, membership committee members will be on hand to facilitate the process for potential new members. These include:
Opening & Gift Bazaar - September 9
Holiday Open House & Gift Bazaar - December 2
Easter Tea - March 24
Joe T Garcia Party - April 29
and other events as they are added. Applicants must submit their applications prior to their 39th birthday, and must reside within one of the following counties: Tarrant, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Johnson, Parker or Wise.
Each JWC applicant needs either a JWC Sponsor or a Woman's Club Sponsor, who must accompany her during the application interview and provide a letter nominating the lady for membership.
Checklist for the Date of Application: (all items required)
____ Bring a letter of recommendation from your sponsor.
____ Your sponsor must accompany you.
____ Bring a snapshot of yourself.
____ Application fee $100.00
____ JWC Annual Dues $150.00
JWC members wishing to sponsor someone may refer to the JWC Sponsorship Handbook found in the pantry of Margaret Meacham Hall for further assistance or check the Policy Procedures information in the JWC Yearbook. The JWC Membership Vice-President can assist with any questions or applications. JWC depends upon its active members to invite qualified women to join our organization. The Membership Committee recommends that each member of JWC sponsor an applicant each year. It is through the efforts of ladies, just like yourself, that you were able to join JWC. Please do the favor for another friend and share the legacy of JWC.
