Standing Committees
The Standing Committee chairs are responsible for supporting various club-wide endeavors, including managing the website, organizing orientations for new members and officers, and documenting the year through pictures and our yearbook.
These positions are subject to change at the discretion of the President each year.
Members chairing these committees are invited to attend the Board of Directors meeting on the third Thursday of the month to report on the status of their responsibilities.

is responsible for maintaining and preserving records of historical gifts and data pertaining to JWC, including framing and displaying pictures of the President and Executive Advisor. She shall be responsible for preserving copies of the Yearbooks and Junior Journals, having them bound every 5 years and displaying them in the Archives Room. She shall report through the President.
is responsible for collecting materials for The Junior Woman's Club scrapbooks and bulletin boards. She shall serve as photographer at all Club functions including pictures of award recipients, Executive Committee and Standing Committee Chairmen. She shall report through the Fifth Vice President Communications.
is responsible for decorating and maintaining Margaret Meacham Hall. She shall be responsible for grounds maintenance and planting, other than that provided by The Woman’s Club. The Woman’s Club Coordinator shall be responsible for the inventory and insurance of the furnishings. She shall report through the President.
shall act as a fact-finding and study committee to develop long range plans for The Junior Woman’s Club to ensure its continued viability and valued contributions to the lives of its members and to the community at large. This Committee shall study The Junior Woman’s Club's policies and administration, upon recommendation of The Board of Directors, President, or any member of The Junior Woman's Club. This committee may make recommendations to The Executive Committee, but shall not itself, take any action. The Long-Range Planning Committee shall be a rotating committee of three (3) members appointed by The Executive Committee. The Junior Woman’s Club President and Executive Advisor shall also be members of the Committee. The term of service shall be three (3) years, with one member being appointed each year to replace the member whose term is expiring. The Committee shall elect the Chairman of this Committee. All Committee members must be a member in good standing for at least three (3) years of The Junior Woman’s Club. The Chairman may attend The Junior Woman’s Club Board of Directors meetings without voting privileges.
